Pantry Needs
Updated May 30, 2013
Each year, we serve hundreds of families with food and supplies thru agencies such as Centerpointe, Fresh Start, Friendship Home, Peer Program and Veterans Center. Your donations, along with those from St. Matthews and Holy Trinity, continue to make this valuable mission possible. We cannot rely on the Food Bank for the amount of food we used to be able to get from them, (because their other programs use up a lot of their donations) so we will need to rely on your donations even more. Anything that you can give will be appreciated and used. If you are so inclined, and able, the Pantry could also use some cash donations. Restocking food from the stores in Lincoln, costs more money……
We serve more smaller families than large, so would prefer the smaller sizes of the items needed, unless otherwise noted. Remember that if it’s outdated for you, it’s outdated for the pantry and we have to throw it away!
Our current largest needs are for:
- Chili (completely out)
- Canned spaghetti, raviolis, etc (completely out)
- SPAM
- chicken noodle soup
- cream soups
- mixed fruits
- pears
- tuna
- 16 oz cooking oil
- individual oatmeal
- 1 lb sugar
