Men’s Breakfast

1) What this ministry is…

Men’s breakfast meets monthly on Saturday mornings to discuss Christian responses to contemporary issues. Occasionally, a member will provide reading material in advance of the discussion. The breakfast is not limited to members of St. Mark’s.

2) Are meetings held? How much time is involved?

Time commitment boils down to a couple of hours a month on a Saturday morning, plus reading time if advance materials are distributed. Folks who cannot attend every month are invited to attend whenever they can. Whoever is hosting provides coffee, rolls, and juice—and perhaps runs the vacuum cleaner.

3) Are any special talents or qualifications needed?

An interest in discussing a Christian response to contemporary issues, a talent for talking and/or listening, and a commitment to helping colleagues become better Christians are the only qualifications for joining the men’s breakfast.

4) How does someone get involved?

Meetings are announced in the Sunday bulletin and in The Lion’s Roar

5) Who is the contact person (or persons)?
