1) What this ministry is...
The Finance Advisory Committee assists in the budget preparation and the plan for the annual stewardship campaign. The committee also makes recommendations to the Vestry regarding financial accounts, other financial issues like building insurance, and fundraising needs.
2) Are meetings held? How much time is involved?
The committee usually meets one time in the Spring, if needed, however most meetings are in the fall. The meetings are usually held on Monday's at 5:00 PM at the Church one time in August, September, and October to monitor the campaign.
3) Are any special talents or qualifications needed?
A desire to ensure that the church finances are in order and the church is financially stable.
4) How does someone get involved?
The easiest way is to simply come to the meetings. Any church member is invited to attend and participate.
