1) What this ministry is...
Lectors witness during services by reading from the Bible or by leading intercessory prayer.
2) Are meetings held? How much time is involved?
Lectors do not meet on a regular basis. They typically read every four to six weeks. Lectors are sent the assigned reading (by e-mail if possible) prior to the service so that they will be able to practice it beforehand. If they are unable to attend the assigned service, they should try to find a substitute, or contact Bob Stock, Pippa Lawson, or the office.
3) Are any special talents or qualifications needed?
Lectors should be able to project their voices so that everyone can hear them. Training is available on request, as is help with occasional pronunciation questions.
4) How does someone get involved?
Contact Bob Stock or Pippa Lawson.
5) Who is the contact person (or persons)?
Bob Stock or Pippa Lawson
