Teresa Harms, Executive Director of Clinic with a Heart, will give a short talk during coffee hour following the 10:30 am service. Clinic with a Heart is a free medical clinic that takes care of indigent people in need of medical care. It is supported solely by faith-based institutions, including St. Mark’s on the Campus — it’s one of our monthly Outreach Fund recipients.
September 22nd is also the kick off for our first Medicine Drive for the Clinic. During the drive, which ends October 31st, we will collect over-the-counter medicines to give to the clinic, such as aspirin, allergy pills, laxatives, and cough syrups. Any over the counter medication that you can buy and share mean so much to people who can’t afford them. There will be a drop off basket in the Narthex for your thoughtful contributions. Thank you!
